Our staff of experienced professional business intermediaries combines an average of over 40 years business experience with proven records of success in serving as intermediaries in a number of business sale and merger transactions in a variety of industry sectors. Each member of the team brings unique and complimentary skills to be utilized as appropriate on any given assignment. The backgrounds of our staff members are summarized below.  | Keith Crowe has been involved in business sales as an intermediary for over seven years and recently served as Director of Business Brokerage for a major commercial real estate company in Nashville, TN. His background in business and financial services includes previous positions as Treasurer for Cummings & Co., EVP of the Nashville Homebuilders Association and Loan Officer with PNC Bank. He has also personally owned and operated three closely-held businesses. Keith has a BS in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University along with MBA work at the University of Tennessee. Keith resides in Nashville and is involved in a number of civic and professional organizations locally. |
 | Bill Marrero has been a practicing business intermediary for eight years and has facilitated transactions in manufacturing,aircraft service, security, medical, retail, food and beverage and scores of other industries. His thirty year career in the corporate world has enabled him to develop skills in financial recasting, negotiations, marketing and valuations. Bill is a licensed real estate agent and brings a very disiplined process to the acquisition or merger transaction. |
 | Scott McIllwain is a native of Memphis, TN and has a background in agricultural commodities futures and options trading. He began his career with Refco and Sparks Commodities, the leading agricultural economics firm in the world, after college at the University of Mississippi. During the period 1987-2000, Scott was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade and the New York Cotton Exchange. He has developed various recognized options trading models and software systems combining production, government programs and real time market data in a portfolio decision support model. Since 2001, Scott has been involved in a number of business brokerage and merger and acquisition transactions and is currently responsible for Alliant's middle market M&A division. He and his family reside in Gallatin, TN where he is involved in a variety of civic and community activities. |
 | Tom Kelley has a strong background in business and financial management, and has served as intermediary for a number of business sale transactions over the past six years. Tom also has owned and operated several closely-held businesses in the health care and professional services field over the past 20 years. Prior to owning his own businesses, Tom was a CPA and management consultant with a "big 8" international accounting firm and later an investment banker and Registered Principal with a municipal bond brokerage firm. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Industrial Management, both from Georgia Tech. Tom is a licensed realtor and is active in a number of local community and civic organizations. |
 | Jeff Brasher is a professional business broker and intermediary. he has been a native of middle Tennessee for 26 years after his graduation from Indiana University. His extensive retail background has provided the necessary skills in financial reporting, negotiations, marketing and actual valuations. Jeff is a licensed real estate agent and brings the necessary core values such as character, competence and trustworthiness to the table. Jeff and his family reside in Franklin, Tennessee. He is involved in the local United Way Allocations board, the Franklin Morning Rotary and is on the board of directors for Family and Children Services. |
 | Tom Spraggins has a strong financial and operations background. Tom owned and operated a private cable TV company for 25 years in seven states. He successfully negotiated exclusive contracts with some of the country's largest commercial developers, including Trammell Crow, Lincoln Properties and Haury & Smith. Tom also handled negotiations with the biggest cable programmers, including HBO, ESPN, and CNN among many others. Tom's background also includes marketing and customer service. During his career, he also acquired other cable operators and sold several systems to Time Warner, Viacom and Comcast. Tom has a BBA degree from the University of Memphis as well as MBA work in Advanced Management. |  | Cole Gibbons has enjoyed a varied and distinguished business background. Having studied in business, education, architecture, fine arts and received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University, Cole produced in the stage, television and independent film industries. Cole's years of experience in manufacturing, sales and management include two Fortune 500 companies and have equipped him in analysis and negotiation. Several years ago, he sold his own closely-held business and joined the most experienced team of business intermediaries in Tennessee. Cole is licensed by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and has had key involvement in transactions in a number of business sectors, including significant experience in the transfer of franchise organizations. |  | Ben Matthews is a senior broker and business intermediary with extensive experience in financial, business and real estate marketing. Ben is a native of Huntsville, AL and has lived there most of his life with his wife, Suzanne, and their four children. Ben is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Alabama and heads Alliant Capital's operations in Huntsville and North Alabama. |
